Isabel Coixet sorprise again with this romantic, sensual, not conventional at all and almost erotic thriller: 'Mapa de los sonidos de Tokio' 'Map of the Sounds of Tokyo'.

The film is about a professional killer, Ruy, who is contracted by the father to kill the boyfriend of his daughter after she decided suicide.
The father blame the boyfriend, wineshop owner,  of her suicide.

Without being a wine movie, step by step, the film brings a part of the exciting wine life.
We can watch close up of different wines of Bodegas Torres and one of direct reference to 'Grans Muralles of Towers 2007' (D.O. Conca de Barbera). This wine was scored 95 points by the prestigious critic of wines Jay Miller, right hand of Robert Parker, and person in charge of Spanish wines scoring for his guide.

The only regret to my lovely and respected Coixet is she lost the opportunity to promote some of other fantastics spanish wines and origin denominations not so known out Spain like:  DO PLA DE BAGES, DO CATALUNYA, DO CALATAYUD, DO TORO..... All around the globe who love wine, know Torres.
Someday may be I have the opportunity to meet her and I will ask.

But I recommend 100% the movie.
To all the soudrank film music lovers only say the music is fantastic.
It was choosen personally by Isabe Coixet: Antony and the Jonhsons, Kraak & Smaak, Noriko Awaya, Hibari Misor, Dan Miyakawa Ensemble....and others, are the list of the artists.

The sound of the movie was awared by the Prix Vulcrain in cannes 2009.
The film was nominated for the best film in Cannes 2009.
The producer of the movie, Jaume Roures, is also the productor of other films like: "Vicky Cristina Barcelona", "Commander" or "Midnight in Paris".
